Ockanickon Boys Camp Staff is made up of a diverse group of young adults from around the globe.  Staff have been hired from Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, England and of course our homegrown talent from the USA.

Matollionequay Girls Camp Staff is made up of a creative team of young women who come from far and wide to make a difference in the lives of young girls and teens.   Staff have been hired from Germany, Australia, New Zealand, England and of course our homegrown talent from the USA. 

Sugar and spice and everything nice, our girl's camp staff teach girl power, self esteem and confidence.  They model these traits daily to our campers and show what leaders can do.

Lake Stockwell Day Camp Staff Is made up of local teachers, college students, and high school students interested in having a career in the field of early childhood education, human services, and child psychology.

Camp Nurse

If you love the outdoors and working with children, then this is the chance for you to experience a great summer of fun with YMCA Camp Ockanickon, Inc.

The position of Camp Nurse (RN) is available for the summer at YMCA Camp Ockanickon & Matollionequay during the summer of 2008. Full and Part Time positions available (can work entire summer for 10 weeks or just one session for 2 weeks).  Salary based upon experience ($300-$400 per week), room & board included. Camp scholarships may be available for your children to participate in the fun!

The position requires that you work and live in our on-site Wellness Center.   Our facility consists of one site with three different camps, each with its own independent Wellness Center and RN or health care provider.  Ideal candidates will have experience with children, teens, and college students. Previous experience is preferred but we will train the right candidates.

YMCA Camp Ockanickon & Matollionequay are overnight camps in Medford, NJ, 20 miles from Philadelphia and 45 minutes from the shore. Located on over 565 breathtaking acres of forest and lakes in the Pinelands, these excellent camps provide children with a memorable summer experience in a traditional camp setting while enhancing their physical, mental and spiritual well being.
